My name is Jaap Slootbeek. During my studies I was an active member at H.V. Ockham, including a board year, and organized the Week of Inspiration. I also enjoyed a minor and internship abroad.

In 2017 I finished my studies in Applied Mathematics with a specialization in Operations Research. Afterwards I started my career as a software developer, enjoying life in Twente.

At the start of 2025 I joined SequriX. Together with my colleagues I work on keeping our product up to date in a technical sense and adding new features. Margins in our market are quite slim so we look for ways we can make work easier or more efficient for our clients.

My name is Yvonne Lootsma and I studied applied mathematics in the period 1992-1997. After that I started a PhD at the mathematics department in Control Theory in the group of Kwakernaak. During my PhD I found out that I missed the direct applicability of my work and decided to switch to Software Development. 

Since 1999 I have been working as a software engineer, first for CMG/LogicaCMG, later on for Siteseeing Internet Services (SIS)/Wevolve and since 2014 for SequriX. 

What I like the most is making software that eases the life of the people that work with it. The last few years I don’t write code, but help new customers to set-up our product within their company. Also I try to translate new wishes from customers to designs that can be implemented by the development team
