We are working on solutions to social challenges in the areas of aerospace, agri & food, defence & security, energy, high-tech systems & materials, life sciences & health, smart industry and water & maritime.

My name is Monique Kedde and I graduated in 1999 in the area of Numerical Mathematics under the supervision of Prof. Traas. My graduation project, “The Magnetic Field of a Dipole Near a Perfectly Conducting Wedge,” was carried out at Thales Nederland B.V.
Following my graduation, I joined Thales as a Radar Engineer and remained with the company for 26 years. Over the course of my career, I held a variety of roles, including Innovation Manager, Radar Test Manager, Department Manager, and Project Manager, contributing to a wide range of products and organizational initiatives.
In December 2026, I transitioned to DEMCON, where I work as a Senior Project Manager focusing on defence-related projects.
Alongside my professional career, I have been actively involved in organizational and governance roles. During my studies, I served on the board of W.S.G. Abacus and was a member of the Faculty Board. At Thales, I took on several additional responsibilities, including Chairman of the Works Council and Chairman of the Young Employee Society. I have also been actively engaged in knowledge sharing and knowledge management initiatives throughout my career.
