As a contract engineering partner for startups and OEMs, Demcon covers the full trajectory from concept to certified production. Demcon Defense & Security
Military personnel use the most modern technologies, such as sensor and communication systems, in their tactical missions. Autonomous technologies help increase effectiveness and safety in this respect. To secure the power to achieve results (even under challenging conditions) requires effective decision-support. That in turn requires effective innovation. We are able to successfully complete large-scale development projects together with clients. This is where our added value lies for defense organizations that would like to quickly and efficiently develop specific solutions.

My name is Monique Kedde and I graduated in 1999 in the area of Numerical Mathematics under the supervision of Prof. Traas. My graduation project, “The Magnetic Field of a Dipole Near a Perfectly Conducting Wedge,” was carried out at Thales Nederland B.V.
Following my graduation, I joined Thales as a Radar Engineer and remained with the company for 26 years. Over the course of my career, I held a variety of roles, including Innovation Manager, Radar Test Manager, Department Manager, and Project Manager, contributing to a wide range of products and organizational initiatives.
In December 2026, I transitioned to DEMCON, where I work as a Senior Project Manager focusing on defence-related projects.
Alongside my professional career, I have been actively involved in organizational and governance roles. During my studies, I served on the board of W.S.G. Abacus and was a member of the Faculty Board. At Thales, I took on several additional responsibilities, including Chairman of the Works Council and Chairman of the Young Employee Society. I have also been actively engaged in knowledge sharing and knowledge management initiatives throughout my career.
