E-values and Multiple Testing
Nowadays a hot topic in statistics is the new theory of hypothesis testing with e-values. I will explain e-values and our paper with which it all began. I will end with an exciting and very fresh result in multiple testing: it turns out one can formulate a general necessary and sufficient principle for multiple testing with e-values. This leads to uniform improvements of existing methods and a starting point for creating new methods.
