Witteveen+Bos is an internationally operating advisory and engineering firm with over 1,400 employees. We apply advanced technology sustainably to address societal issues such as clean water, the energy transition, mobility, coastal protection, environmental research, and more.
Frank Klein Schaarsberg graduated as a applied mathematician from the University of Twente in 2019 and has since been working as a data scientist at Witteveen+Bos. During this lunch lecture, you'll gain insights into the world of data science in the realm of engineering firms, the development of Python tools, how deep learning is utilized to detect and map propane tanks from aerial photos, and the opportunities for internships and thesis projects at Witteveen+Bos.
